***SOLD For Sale - '02 919 in Colorado ***

I purchased this bike new in the summer of 2003. It currently has 3900 miles on it and runs excellent. It is completely stock, except for the National Cycle Street Shield, has always lived in my garage, and doesn't have any cosmetic damage. The motorcycle is located in Frederick, CO (30 miles north of Denver.) There are a few more pictures in my gallery.

Right after purchasing the bike, my job took me away from home for 4 summers and I didn't get to ride very often. I accumulated a few more motorcycles to play with and now need to make room in the garage.

I am asking $3300 OBO.

wow, great deal. Replace those tires (if they are still original) and you got practically new 9er for the price of one with 30k miles. GLWS

Caution, this is the fastest 919 production color. Inattention on your part may peel your eyelids clean off your face.

On your new pics, is the left hand side front turn signal cracked? Or did the lens just come loose?

Motojudo, after I read you inquiry, I ran out to garage to check. No damage, everything intact. I looked at the picture in my gallery; it seems the angle may make it look odd. The bike is sitting on the side stand as well.

Very nice! That's a fair deal, I just paid about the same for a 7k mile example, same year, condition, color.

My new Iron Man Hero is Eric from Spring, TX. We exchanged a few emails, he flew into Denver, I picked him up, we drove to my place, he took a short test drive, bought the bike and set off for his home some 1200 miles away. His second day on the road was 840 miles... a new record for him (and on ancient tires.) No sidewall cracking at all, but it appears that the tire compound hardened over time and when he encountered rain - they were not too sticky (yikes.) Despite all the above, he arrived safely, and held 6,000 RPM in top gear most of the way home.

Thanks Eric.

Terry, it was a pleasure dealing with you. I had a blast coming back from Colorado and enjoyed every minute of the quality time spent with my new love. We are getting to know each other... So far so good!!!

I have a good to do list to be entertained for some period of time: tires, fender eliminator, coolant and oil change, maybe exhaust, frame sliders...

What else would you guys recommend???

Let me know when you come to Texas, I will be happy to show you around.

Cheers!
