Every bike I own has a Power Commander. All these bikes are too lean due to emission settings. It's not so much a power increase but a smoothness and driveability improvement that you don't realize how bad it is until you have a Power Commander installed.

Just don't buy and Ohlins and a PCIII. The Ohlins will transform the bike, then the PCIII will transform it again. You will be back a square one.

while this is normally the case, the general consensus with 919's is that they are way too rich from the factory. Every map that I've seen/used leans the bike out.

I oversimplified the answer. Generally most bikes are lean short of full throttle and at full throttle they are overly rich. The PC maps generally show enrichment in the 2500 to 4000 rpm and then lean them out above that.

thank god its gone... now theres no reason for me to buy yet another upgrade to the 919 on top of the ohlins and fork springs i just bought....
