**SOLD** 2nd Gen Sato Exhaust

First the bad: Exhaust has blemishes on the visible sides as a result of my saddlebags. Basically, it's like they polished it in spots. I was thinking of eventually blacking them out as it is noticeable, but to each their own. I took close-ups of the boo-boos for the sake of full disclosure. The other boo-boos are from the brackets, and will therefore be covered up when hung again.

Now the good: Arizona exhaust, 10k miles, no dents and no signs of rust that I can tell (I'm willing to look further if anyone can give me more tell-tale signs). All bolts and even the ugly titanium guards are included. I used them, but wouldn't, if I had to do it all over again (the weld craftsmanship is quite amazing).

I'm not sure what these are worth shipped at this point, but I have given someone the right of first refusal. I want to charge a fair price for them, so I'm open to suggestions. I was thinking $400 shipped? Too much given the blemishes? Too little? Linky-poo to the flickr share gallery for higher res shots.

If they are stainless just give the pipes a good polish with a buffing wheel and suitable compound to shine the lot up to a even finish. Problem fixed.

I'll give you $10 plus shipping. Shipping should be about or less than $15.

The price seems a little high, but not way out. I can't remember exact pricing, but you seem to be very close to a set of Carbon Satos with no blemishes and completely rebuilt internals.

Good tip, thanks. As for the core issue on these cans, I have the receipt from a June 2008 purchase from solomoto, which I understand to be a dealer of Kyle's. I believe I have one if the last new sets sold.

Are these some of the ones that have the issues with the core rotting out? Have you contacted Kyle to ask about the replacement cores?

These were sold a couple of years after the problem pipes from a dealer and they haven't gotten any louder that I can tell. They also show no signs of deterioration or rust of any sort, so I believe them to be safe.

Yep, the rule of thumb is to ask about half what you can get a new set for....I mean they are used pipes. BTW, I've seen Delkevics cheaper than $310.
