***SOLD*** 2007 Honda 919 in MN

$4500 OBO. Located in 55350 MN. Please ask questions if you have one after reading the ad.

Regrettably (very much so) I have decided to sell, or trade, my gorgeous 2007 Honda 919. She has a little over 18000 miles on the clock, barely broken in for a Honda. Starts up with no issues, runs with no issues. Does not leak oil, does not burn oil. My bike is in excellent condition, I have not encountered a single problem with her.

Clean title and owners maintenance manual will be included along with two keys.

I am the second owner of the bike. Purchased from original owner at 10,000 miles and that was on September 3, 2011. The original owner debaffled the pipes, fabricated a plate hanger, and attempted to install an integrated tail kit. When I purchased it, the kit did not work. So after I bought it, I bought the CustomLED (recommended by you guys) tail kit and installed it. Functions perfectly. The only major cosmetic damage on the bike was also caused by the first owner. The cover on the left side is scratched quite a bit (see picture).

Bike recently went through the shop for new parts. New JT 16t front and 44t rear sprockets, EBC rear brake pads, gold DID 530 chain, and Michelin Pilot Road 2 front tire all installed around 17,000 miles. About 500 miles ago I had a Pilot Power 2CT rear installed. Oil was changed every 2000ish miles with Rotella T6 synthetic (also recommended by you guys). CRG bar end mirror and the yellow headlight protector were installed by original owner. The protector film is removable, and I thought about removing it, but I get comments on how dumb people think it looks, so I chose to leave it on. Does not hinder headlight ability at night.

The bike has not been abused. I have never done a burnout, never (purposely) wheelied, never wrung her neck full throttle after starting. This was my first "nice" bike, and I treated it with as much care as I could. Yes it has been RIDDEN, it is a blast in the twisties. My buddies on 600cc rockets have a hard time keeping up.

Which brings me to why I am selling the bike. I am looking for a bike I can track eventually. I am looking at 2007+ CBR600RRs, or possibly a 2006+ CBR1k. I love the torque, the seating position, the looks, the sound, the color, the sheer enjoyment and smile plastering ability of the 919, but I can't stay with one bike for too long. I want to try a bike more suited to sporty / track riding. I want something new.

I'm sure I'm forgetting something... so please ask! I don't have to sell her either, so please no low ball offers. I am on break from classes until June, so I have plenty of time between work to show the bike. I am helping a buddy move to Florida on the 26th of this month, so if you're along the route, it can be delivered.

Pictures!

Front tire, tons of tread left.

Rear tire, tons of tread left (and almost no chicken strips!)

DID chain kept clean and lubed since installation

Integrated tail with signal on

The cover scratch from original owner

Does this napkin smell like chloroform? Just kidding baby lemme buy you a drink.

Very nice bike. Looks to be in great condition. Those alternator cover scratches should come standard from the factory. I did that mod when it was a week old in a parking lot. Good luck, should sell quick this time of year.

Thanks Mike. Hahaha so it is a common thing then huh? I've almost dropped it myself once when I put the stand down in dirt, luckily grabbed her just as she started tipping.

My favorite part was when the Regulator/Rectifier immediately failed and resulted in us having to jump start the bike every time we stopped on the very cold and dark trip back to WI.

I really enjoyed the ride to the shop the next day though - all 15 minutes of it

Seriously, though, it will be a great bike when I have it back.

Hahaha ouch dude. Not the best way to start off... You'll have a blast on it once you don't have to carry jumper cables with you every ride.

$4000 OBO

Got my eye on a Daytona 675 right now, so I'm more ambitious to sell.

Yep, it's a GoPro mount. Was trying some new angles. Easy to remove.
