***SOLD*** 2006 Honda 919 (wrecked)

I wrecked my 2006 Honda 919 about three weeks ago and now need money for hospital bills. I'll start with the bad stuff first, the motor is ruined and will need to be replaced, the clutch lever is bent, the Renthal bars are slightly bent, the front wheel has a small chip in the rim, the rear plastics are cracked and scraped up a little on the left side, and the left exhaust has small scrapes on it. And now for the good parts, the gas tank, gauges, forks, suspension, brakes and all brake hardware are in great condition. The brake lines have been replaced with steel lines, the rear tire barely has a month of wear on it, baffles have been removed from stock exhaust, and it has aftermarket front turn signals. Included is the stock license plate holder, stock mirrors, a windscreen that has been painted black, and a few other small parts which are not installed. I'm asking $2,250 OBO. I am located in Evansville, Indiana. Pick up or meet close only. PM me with any questions.

Losing the bike is the worst part. I'm good. My tibia came out through my skin so I had to get a plate and 11 screws in my leg.

Took a turn too wide and the right side of the motor hit a huge rock that was right on the edge of the road.

Sorry about your leg. Hope it mends quickly.

That is highly unusual. Lose the engine & the gas tank is spared.

Sorry for your accident man, but like others said, glad you came out OK. Not sure if you are physically able, but you may be able to part it out yourself and get more money than the whole package as a wrecked bike.

Just in the past couple of days we had people looking for a radiator and an ECM.

Best of luck!

Thanks everyone! I appreciate the support. I thought about parting it out but I figured I would see if anyone was interested in the whole thing first to save me some trouble lol.

$2250?? Sorry bud, but that would land you in the 'daily craigslist crackhead' thread. I'm not here to knock you but that is an outrageous price for that bike. Most of us have bought running/riding bikes for that price range.

I figured I wouldn't get that much out of it. I put obo and just wanted to start high and go down from there.

Without an engine you are better off parting it out.

if you love your motorcycle, set it free.. if it comes back and hits you.. you highsided

If you end up parting it out, I'd be interested in the windscreen and stock mirrors.

I'd be interested in the gauges if you part it out. Possibly the headlight, too.
