***SOLD*** 2006 Honda 919 - $4500

I'm selling my 2006 here in Nashville, TN and wanted to post the Craigslist ad on this super helpful forum. Although I haven't posted, I've used this excellent website throughout the ownership of this bike for things related to motorcycles and this bike in particular. It's a fantastic bike and I'm sad to part with it, but it's time in life to sell it. Feedback is welcome and thanks for looking.

Holy crap, where the hell were you when I was looking for a bike??
That is a gorgeous bike ya got there at an extremely good price; I'm sure it wont last long.
Oh, and if you decided to sell those mirrors separately I'd happily take them (and maybe the levers) off your hands for you...

Worth every penny. I've never seen a 919 with glossier paint!

Thanks for all of the encouragement guys. It really is a fun machine with glossy paint! Surprisingly, no interest as of yet. I'm thinking it's because winter is fast-approaching, but expected to receive a couple of e-mails by now. My question for you guys was going to be if the price was too high, but based on your responses it seems that it is not. I may end up winterizing the bike, storing it as I usually do in the winter, and then trying to sell again at a slightly increased price in the spring... Thanks again for your thoughts everybody.

I was thinking that you might have some difficulty moving it at that price. It's not overpriced, well worth it in that condition with those mods, but the 919 isn't exactly a popular bike so it may take time to find a buyer that recognizes the value.

It just sold this morning. Very sad to see it go, but the buyer was excited about the bike and it seems to be going to a good home where hopefully it will be used more than I have had time to use it during the past couple of years. Moderators please move this forum into the Sold section. I'm not sure how to change the title or I would have added "SOLD" as others seem to do on this forum. Of note, I have a Corbin seat with backrest (black seat with dark grey piping) that I bought from Gator on this website a few months back that I will be posting in the next day or two if anyone is interested. It's in excellent shape with no issues at all and was super comfortable for the handful of rides on which I used it. Thanks to all who contributed on WristTwisters during the time I owned my 919. This has been a fantastic resource website.
