***SOLD*** 2004 919 Toronto, Canada

**** I don't want to overload the local storage space with images, so please hit my Craigslist or Kijiji ads for photos - 2004 Honda CB900F 919 Hornet and Kijiji Toronto (GTA) Classifieds: Free Local Classified Ads for Toronto (GTA), Ontario *******

Well, it could be another one of those "heavy heart/got kids/etc" ads. Almost - my family is very supportive of me riding, but there are priorities.

Because of these priorities, my bike needs to go. Don't want to, and don't really have to sell it, so I am looking for the right buyer and the right home for it.

Not being a snob - I put a lot of sweat into this bike, and while it is already one of a kind, another small push and a couple of hundred bucks and will be truly unique. I simply do not have the time to put into it anymore - I rode it less than 5 times, around the neighbourhood, in the past 2 years. It deserves more and better.

No test pilots please - if you are looking at a large displacement bike, this is obviously not your first. A much more exciting ride than the SV1000 (even though I owned 2 Suzuki bikes), since the riding position is not as aggressive. I originally got this bike to replace my Honda CBR1000RR, since I couldn't take the stress on my wrists from a sport riding position anymore. The 919 is a 110hp bike, so it has plenty of power…

Here is a brief list of what has been done so far:

* Custom Alien headlight with integrated turn signals (the photo does not do justice - there are blue LED rings around the lights).

* Clear Alternatives fender eliminator tail with integrated stop and turn signals

* Slow blinking relay for the turn signals

* 12V outlet

* One of a kind custom made belly pan with integrated lights (could be changed into turn signals as well, making the entire deck flash).

* A very rare (in North America) Pyramid Plastics solo rider seat cowl.

* Pazzo aluminum levers

* Machined aluminum bar end mirrors

* Machined aluminum spools

* Bar risers

* A very loud custom 120dB big rig Freeway Blaster horn

* K&N air filter

All that is left to be done, is paint the solo cowl, install it (all the installation hardware is included), and depending on your thoughts on colour, plasti dip or vinyl the whole thing (in which case you don't need to paint the cowl) - this will cost in the area of $200 (can share the contact info of 2 shops that quoted me on it).

I will also include the following, for the right buyer (hint hint):

Bike stands
Bike cover
Battery tender
Cargo net
Xena wheel lock w/carrying case
Honda side stand puck
Service manual
Original air filter

Last, but not least - the bike has never been down or dropped - it's immaculate and is ready to become a finished project.

Only 21,233km original kilometres.

The bike is sold in AS IS condition - can be safetied for the right buyer.

$5,400 OBO

I will not part the bike out, so please don't ask.

No trades please - I am taking a break from riding, so don't need another bike. The only thing I will consider as a partial payment is a set of 20", style 214 staggered or non staggered rims with or without tires, for an E70 X5 BMW.

If you don't get the "right price" I'd be interested in the stands... Technically not a part off the bike...:P

Looks like the ads are expired. Any pics? If you're willing to part out... I have my eye on a couple things on the list.

That's a fair price for up here in Canada. It should have sold by now!

The old ad expired, so here is a new one, for the pics:

2004 Honda CB900F 919 Hornet - Markham / York Region Sport Bikes For Sale - Kijiji Markham / York Region Canada.

As for all the part out requests - the answer is a simple and polite "NO" If the bike doesn't sell, then I will simply keep it, so why sell the stuff?

Oh, and I'm not looking for rims anymore - got exactly what I wanted - now need to sell my old rims

You have any pics of the rear cowl? Interested in seeing what it looks like.

Look at the main photo in the kijiji ad - the cowl is sitting right where it belongs, covering the rear seat - it's wrapped in plastic, as I never even took it out...
