**SOLD** 2 Brothers Carbon Fiber Exhaust Canister

I picked up this single sided 2 brothers system when I first got my bike...... probably put 1,500 miles on the bike.... I then ran into a great deal on a Titanium Arrow canister which fit the 2 brother mid-pipe.....

So --- I'm keeping the exhaust hanger & bracket, the mid-pipe, and in the process of removing the can there was damage to the mid-pipe adapter.....(I'm sure this can be purchased through 2 brothers inexpensively and probably in different sizes to fit any bike.....thats the point of V.A.L.E.)

.... if you already have a 2 brothers system and want a replacement can..... or if you want to contact 2 brothers and buy another mid-pipe, hanger, and new collar.

asking $100, shipped - CONUS. (paid $360 for everything)..... again.... this does NOT include the mid-pipe and exhaust hanger & bracket.

or....... what do you have? Wouldn't mind another Honda Fly Screen in mint condition, or another stocker seat... or? no point in keeping it in the garage............ if I can swap it for something else.

As long as the OEM seat is in good condition..... I'm a go. That would be a nice trade.

QUESTION:

so, let's say I have a 900rr header (with a 3-bolt pattern flange at the exhaust end) and I'm looking for a can to mount to it...

would this bolt right up to the end of the header pipe (just as the stock can did) as long as I had a new adapter to replace the damaged one?

1) I'm not familiar with the workings of the V.A.L.E. system - need to read up on it.
2) I'm assuming a mid pipe isn't needed for a 900rr setup
3) Yeah, I know I'm gonna need hanger brackets, I'm just asking about the fitment of the pipe to the slip-on

Abba Zaba, you my only friend.

The VALE system is two pieces.....it's so you can mount 1 canister to different bikes. 1 piece is the brown piece that screws into the pipe....the other piece is an adapter - the one pictured above that is messed up.....you can buy different size adapters. (or have a muffler shop make you one)

One solution would be.. to cut off the flange, measure the pipe, and get an adapter or the right Vale adapter to slide over the header. Which, you'd probably have to do anyway unless you find a bolt on 900rr canister.

Without the Vale screwed into the pipe, the canister has 4 threaded holes in it.....they probably wouldn't line up with your bolt pattern. Could you possibly tap new holes in the canister to make it fit and plug the others with JB Weld? Maybe....

No worries....... You're still at the top of the list......I've had no other inquires.....

If you could do $65, I'll take it. (lol..... w/ the $100 midpipe, I paid close to $400 for this couple months ago)

I just ran into another project that I need to pick up some extra cash for.
