shark rsi helmet

I just sold my HJC carbon helmet because it just didn't fit me right. Now I order this Shark carbon/ kevlar rsi helmet. I must have a Herman munster shaped head because I am not loving the fit of this one either.Again, I must have a round or monkey shape skull so this is up for "SALE' too.

I think this should fit a long oval head shape (but what do I know!) It's a size SMALL. I normally wear a med but I was told that the Shark rsi runs big. It has too sizes of cheek pads (small & med) These are very lite. I paid $235 on close out (close out color) and they won't let me return it. My loss (again) someones gain.......$165.00. It's brand new with box and bag. You can check out a full review and video at helmet harbor.com for more info on this helmet.

I ordered one following the same info as well and it didn't fit well either. I ordered a Large, should have been an XL

Nice helmets though, sold mine about a year ago.

I really like this helmet a lot. It fits me and I could use it, but I am kind of OCD I think. I want it perfect. My head measures 7 1/4" around and it fit's good. The med cheek pads I ordered make it fit my face perfect. What is bothering me is it has no ear pockets to speak of. The GMAX helmet I use has very large ear openings and I like this feeling... But the GMAX is a $120.00 lid and I have a $400 head. This shark retails about $380 and I was happy to pay what I did. When I said monkey head maybe I ment ears.

I want to know where you got the deal on the closeout? I'm looking for a Shark RSI De Puniet edition when he had the kawi colors.

Nevermind, I found them at Sportbiketrackgear which is a sister company to one of the companies I work for & they totally hooked me up with the lid I needed for cheap!

Wow your head is only 7 1/4" around, thats about the size of my chihuahuas head LOL. I'm gonna check out the sizing of this helmet I wear a XS or Small in most other brands. [QUOTE]

Just received the helmet, damn It's nice! Pictures don't do it justice. And best of all, it fits like it was molded to my head! Did I mention this lid was nice? I did have to put the small cheek pads back in, it was smashing my cheeks into my teeth. Can't wait to try it out, were going to the Devil's triangle tomorrow, so it will get a workout. Thanks so much for the deal, it's awesome.
