Pilot Powers

I saw a few months ago on here a link to a great deal, but I have been looking for about an hour and can't find it. My buddy just got his first bike (2001 Katana 600) and is in desperate need of some rubber. Front tire is gone on the sides, and has a nail in it (he's retarded and still rides), and his back tire is only a 160 touring tire... Could he also bump up to a 180 rear with a Katana's stock rim?

Check CycleGear, they usually have good deals.

You would need to know the width of the rim and swingarm but I'm betting a 180 wouldn't fit. Keep in mind even if if does fit it will drastically chnage the handling characteristics of the bike. Turn in will be more sluggish.

I checked Ronayers.com. They usually run some sales on tires this time of year that are quite good. No sales yet, but keep an eye on it.
