Yes, it's a V45 Sabre...that's the bad news.
The good news is that it's an 83 w/ the 750 instead of the 700.

Wish it were a V65 1100, but its not.

Anyway, here are some pics.

I apologize they are so small, the cell phone cam was set to the wrong resolution and didn't realize until I got home. I will be back at the shop tomorrow and can take more pics if anyone is interested.

Here's the Wiki link for the history.

Only negative to this bike is that it's not the Magna.
That and it's a 1983, but it's a little piece of history.

Yes, you have to watch the cam oiling...there's a kit, if you can find it. If you can't there are some well known options.

I almost bought a bike of the same make/model/year, but the rust in the tank brought fear into me (carbs and I do not get along)

Good luck on the sale!

You say you are recreating, or are you using the vintage models from the 1940s?

If you are using current models...then.....

(hopefully better quality than the bike shots...stop using the vintage 1940s camera.)

derail

I've done some photo shots in days gone by, classic b&w photography for some ladies in the past. (funny thing is, 5-10yrs later when they are schoolteachers in the like, they were a little paranoid, 15yrs later and they want a picture of what their body used to look like lol )

Anyway, I've acquired some photo negatives from some old stuff (70-100yrs old), made some prints and am now going to recreate those shots exactly and then w/a modern twist using new, younger <g> models. Then bundle the old, new and modern twist together and try to sell some stuff or do a little show at a local gallery. All in my spare time of course. But it was the accidental acquiring of some old negatives that got the ball rolling.

I suppose it would be artistically interesting to locate some of the original models if possible but, with the exception of one, that would be extremely difficult...to find and photograph. (one is a sort of well known gal)

and no, this isn't a gilf-move

/derail

Bump.
I just saw this bike the other day. There's an overpriced well used K75 in there too. The guy who runs the place services all kinds of stuff. I just dropped off a friend's Monster for a tune up.
Out on the lot sits a Delorean, Sunbeam, M5, 630csi, and an M Coupe - that cool little breadbox delivery thing they made.

Where in Burlington? I have a facility over on Connecticut. There's a great car wash I always go to. I'll be there next week.

Burlington County, not Burlington proper.
It's actually Southampton Twp, I think, right on route 38, not far from the Yam/Honda dealer.

back to the M coupe - I really liked this thing when it came out. The front is a z3, who knows where the back came from, and it's got the engine from the m3.

That car right there is why BMW stopped building in the U.S.

The US plant didn't install the vent ducts in a number of units and shipped them anyway.

Yeah, dude wants way too much for the flying brick.

Those guys are well known BMW enthusiasts with many SCCA event and Autocross wins. There's some vintage Lotus and Jaguar stuff in there as well.
The Lotus was wrecked by a kayaking friend of mine and then rebuilt.

I like the Z4 styling much better. Just could not get myself to like the Z3.

When you're coming out of Conn. and take a right. The last building on the left when you come to the "T".
