My Beautiful 05 919... :-(

I can't believe I'm doing this, after all my hard work. But she is for sale. With everything on it and 4 quarts of Repsol and a CF look belly pan not yet installed, $7400.00
https://www.wristtwisters.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=12900

This is the sexiest 919 ever, I'm just sayin'. :-) Pictures do not do this bike justice.
5,500 miles.
Title is free and clear and in hand. I think I'm going to be sick...
I don't have any way to get it back to Utah (home) from Orange County, CA (where I'll be till at least the end of August) and I might be moving to Atlanta next month so...the sooner I rip this band-aid off the better.

I'd be willing to ship it if you work it all out. Also, if I incur minimal brain damage on this deal, I just might throw in the saddle bags and tank bag later on when I pick those up from my storage unit in UT. I also have a practically brand new Shoei helmet, and slightly used AlpineStars jacket if interested.

Sorry to hear about the bike and good luck with the potential move...

BUT, where'd you get the anodized red brake reservoir cover? I've been looking for one of those.

Amazingly clean and beautiful bike! I love the paint!! Sorry to hear that you have to get rid of it. There's absolutely no way you can have it shipped to Utah? It should cost less than $500.

Couldn't find it on bike bandit (hate their search engine if you don't know the no. also) but if you do think of it or you get back to Utah and want a reasonable price for it, please keep me in mind.

Thanks...

Do you happen to have the stock seat?
If so, I would be interested in buying it.

Beautiful bike! I'd hate to think of it going to someone who wouldn't treat it right!

Good luck with the sale Major. That bike is sweet. Maybe you will figure a way to keep it, but if not the new owner will be lucky to get it.

You've created a beautiful piece of road art there Nick. Someone gets luck from your efforts, and you can always create another better one in the future when the time is right.
Best of luck to you!

Bummer about having to sell it.
You've got to come up to the ride on the 10th before you get rid of it.
Put your name on the list

Nick, key us in on the handlebar cover plate! The bike is real fine looking. Why not suck up to a friend in town to keep it till you settle down. Then get one of these speciel purpose bike haulers to pick-up and deliver it to you later?
My neighbor sold a bike on Ebay and the truck came to his house and they have racks in the van to hold it upright.
It appears you spent $180 on brake levers! What's another $500 to keep your lil Buddy?????

I don't get it. Sell your car remount your bags. Swing through Utah on your month long road trip to Atlanta. Problem solved.
Sorry, I have had my 919 for 2 weeks and can't remember life without it.
Cheers

Congratulations on the sale... although I still don't understand the reason for selling it. Of the options available, selling it seems like the most painful.
Hopefully you're able to start over on a new bike in the next city.

The bike right now, at this point in my life isn't a necessity and while I loved it, liquid cash right now is more important. I'm selling everything I can and stockpiling for WW3 thanks to the warning from Super Sneaky Steve ha ha ha
