Huge Gear Sale.... Get this stuff out of my house!!

I have a bunch of stuff new and used that I need to get rid of. I don’t use this gear anymore or have never used it at all so it is time to clear it out. As you can see I still have plenty of other stuff.

Up first is a brand new pair of Sidi On Road boots. Size 43 Euro and 9.5 US They are great touring boots. I used a pair of these on my trip out to Cali and again up to Maine in 13 days of nonstop rain. They held up great and my feet were nice and dry. These are $325 at Newenough.com, I’ll take $225 shipped.

Up next is a used pair of A’stars goretex gloves size Large. These are supposed to be waterproof, and they are in most normal rain, but after about an hour in the driving rain they started to leak. I used them as back ups while touring (I usually take 3 pair of gloves) Don’t know the model, but they are similar to the WR3 goretex glove which sells new for $139 I’ll take $65 shipped.

Next is a used set of Held gloves. I don’t know the model but I believe they were galaxy or something. I think they were over $200 when new. These are superior gloves and I would keep them if I didn’t have Fred Flintstone hands with sausage link fingers. (wide palm with short stubby fingers) They are a 9 ½ Large + They fit my hand, but the fingers are too long and I have zero dexterity off the bike. I’ll take $135 shipped.

Up next is a new in the package pair of A’stars Sledge gloves size XL. Once again, my hand is too wide for the A’stars large, but the fingers are too long on the XL. I paid $60 for these and I’ll take $45 shipped. Nice around town glove.

Next is a set of almost new A’stars GP Plus gloves size Large. I tried these for one ride and they were just too snug for me. $190 on Newenough.com I’ll sell for $100

Next is a Honda perf’d leather jacket (made by intersports west which makes first gear and fieldshear) It is a size 40. I wore it 2 times, but I don’t have a matching set of pants that mate up with it anymore. They were claimed in a crash on my way to Maine while attached to my first gear kilamanjaro jacket. It is a really nice jacket with a wind liner that zips out. I’ll take $150….

Next up is a first gear magnum jacket size medium. I used this jacket for a trip out to California and back in temps ranging from 110 to 30 degrees and in rain, snow and sleet. It has a thermal liner and is decently waterproof and has good venting. The amount of zippered pockets and vents mean that water will find it’s way in eventually so for monsoons raingear is advised. It is well used but still will provide some use for anyone currently without a jacket. I’ll give it to any new (or old) rider who is jacketless for at least a $25 donation to this site (you can donate more if you want). I’ll even pick up shipping. Here it is.

The liner;

Also a pair of used Tourmaster Jean pants with knee and hip armor. They are size small 30-32, but are too big for me unless I wear them over other pants. I wore them 3 times. I paid $99 for them and I’ll take $50 shipped.

Last is a brand new pair of First gear Sierra rain pants in size Small. Got these for the wife about a year ago, but as you can see they are still brand new with tag on them, so off they go. I think they were like $40 but I’ll take $20 for them. I would wear them but they are pretty small and I don’t want to be accused of smuggling plumbs in them. J

Feel free to make some offers. I want this stuff gone. I'd rather somebody was getting some use out of it rather than let it sit on my shelf.

If you had grown more in your lifetime we would be exchanging cash for gear right now.

Dude, you are preaching to the choir here. I got this big when I was 12 or 13 and I thought I was going to be a monster of a dude. Little did I know. The sad part is that I wear pants that are 2 inches smaller in the waist now then I did then.... My wife is trying though, she keeps buying me cookies and chips all the time, but so far her plan isn't working.

225 pounds... Damn, you are getting down there. You are right about the soda though, it is a hard quit. I gave up all kinds of bad stuff in my life, but I still drink the occasional Mt. Dew, at least one a week. I limited myself to 1 a week on Friday on the way home from work. I lost 15 pounds in 3 months changing nothing else. Drop the pop and you'll break 210.

Small is a good thing... at least in the motorcycle world, not so much in the pron industry however.

Where are all the young skinny guys who have yet to get married and fatten up? Surely there are a few on here in need of something. This crap is taking up space and I need room for other useless stuff that I'll never use.
