I'm finally selling my CR750 cafe racer project on eBay. It's a 1976 Honda CR750 café racer project. It started out as a 1976 CB750 and has evolved into what you see here. I have grafted on perfect condition CBR1100XX front and rear suspension to give this classic modern brakes and performance. I have machined the rear wheel hub to align the fat sportbike rear tire to the slimmer CB750 engine. Brand new tires. New tapered steering stem bearings keep the modern front end under the classic tube steel frame. Fiberglass seat pan installed to keep the CR750 look alive.
The bike does not include the fuel tank shown in the pictures. AirTech makes a fiberglass replica tank and fairing kit to make the bike look just like Dick Mann’s Daytona winning ride. Included but not shown are a perfectly tuned set of carburetors, a stock Honda oil tank, and other standard electrical and fuel components. The front forks, wheel, and brake rotors alone are worth $600. The engine runs strong and only has 7200 miles. The tires are brand new. The bike has no title but I will provide a bill of sale. I’ve owned the bike for almost 9 years and it was given to me by a close friend. I wanted to finish this and take it to Saturday night bike gatherings but two young kids have pretty much eaten up all of my free time. This is a great start to something special that’s sure to draw stares.
The bike is to be pickup up in Chicago's North Western suburbs. Delivery within a few hundred miles may be available depending on drop-off location and timeframe. Please feel free to PM me with any questions.
