You know you want them.........hahaha!

I'll try and get pics up of them. The forks have some scuffs as can be expected on most used RC forks, but nothing major. I can post up a price list for everything I have when I get home tonight to go along with the pics.

You're right, I do. I just can't justify the cost.

I love the look of the beefier front end on the 919... possibly a bit overkill but IMO it should've been that way from the factory.

what else would i need to do the conversion? i have been doing a lot of research on the swap but there is just so much information out there it gets a little confusing. pretty sure the stock 919 wheel does not work and the axle or something. maybe a little help and i would be very interrested!

thanks

Kyle

929/954 front wheel with RC51 bearings and spacers, RC51 rotors and calipers will let you keep the three spoke wheel that matches the rear.

You'll need to get an RC51 axle, either a 929 or a 954 lower triple and have your steering stem pressed in. You'll need a 929/954/RC51 front rim, the RC51 is a bolt and go since the axle is made for it, but the 929 or 954 rim needs to have the correct bearings pressed in so it works with the RC axle. The brakes from all 3 of those bikes are the same so get any of those calipers you want, get the rotors that go with your wheel. That's it in a nut shell. If you want to keep the bars, you can get some simple bar risers that you drill through the top triple and bolt in or you can get the Darwin Bar setup off me that I have for sale as well. Let me know if I can help you with anything else.

Thanks for the replys. So am I correct in hearing Dan that I can put the RC51 rotors and calipers on my 919 3 spoke rim? BMiller can you give me a list of everything you have for the conversion and what you would want for it. I really want to do this to my 919. I like clipons so no need for bars.

Nope, the 919 rim is useless for the conversion, the 929/954 wheel CAN be used with the RC51 bearings and spacers, the 929/954 wheel is three spoke and matches the rear wheel of the 919 making the conversion look like it came from the factory.
The RC51 rotors will bolt to the 929/954 wheel.
Dan

so you should be able to use rc51 front if you did a 900rr rear right? imo that would look better unless the rc51 is a 5 spoke

Here is the new deal, I will not come down from this price: I can "to your door" the forks, rotors, upper triple, and spacers (for the axle, but no axle included). $575

I would prefer to steer clear of paypal on this unless the buyer wants to include an additional 4% to cover the fees.
