FS? Moriwaki Ti -SOLD-

As a follow up to my somewhat crazy Ti painting thread, here are some pics of the used Moriwaki Ti cans I have.

Notes on the pics:
- Titanium cans themselves look great. I'm not going to polish them up all pretty just for some quick pics, this is pretty much how they came off the bike.
- The color in the pictures looks more rich than in real life. At least to my eyes Ti looks a little more dull in real life, probably due to the exposure set to auto on the digicam.
- The drain holes on the cans have pissed out a little rust. Moisture + packing having a couple seasons of riding on them. It cleans off with a little scrubbing but will probably come back eventually. I never really noticed when they are mounted since it's on the bottom of the can out of sight but I thought I'd point it out. The leaky rust drips by the rivet on the endcap also seem to scrub off. To make them perfect again you could get them re-packed.
- The mounting springs are looking a little rough. Cleanable, maybe, or easily replaced if you want shiny springs. The mid pipe pieces are stainless, just a bit dirty from carbon buildup, and the carbon fiber heat shields look fine.

I'd like to see $300 for them (+ship) Sound reasonable?

If anyone's seriously interested, those who have previously PMed me will have first priority.

You could also just put on the little mid pipe with the carbon fiber shields and leave the cans off and drive around that way. It helps direct the exhaust away from you more than running a straight y-pipe and is loud as [email protected]*&!

Who can resist running around without mufflers at least for 1 quick lap around the neighborhood?

The cans are now spoken for.

Sturmmann was the first person to contact me showing interest in them. If for some reason that doesn't work out, rickard919 and Turtleracer64 have both shown interest.

I'll update this post once the sale is complete.

They've got a nice low rumble at idle, sound decent at speed but don't wail like banshee ala Sato Gen 1's.

They are longer and push the exhaust exit further back reducing the stink factor if you're so afflicted.

Moriwaki are amazing!

I've got the same rainbow TI on my F4i since 2001 with 35,000 miles on them and they still look and sound great. They have a nice deep throaty rumble and aren't loud and obnoxious.

Good to hear you got them.

Keeping an eye out for the new addition to one of the picture threads.

(and can a mod update the title on this thread to sold? I'm not seeing an edit button anywhere.)
