WTF 41 miles and now it's for sale??!!

I will say this you do find the deals, I heard it was around $75K so $55K seems like a bargain.

Sold

According to the shipping company, I should have it next week some time. I'll let you all know how it rides!!!

Of course that all depends on how fast they deposit the check! If I get it before the check clears then all is well on my end but they will want it back once they realize there is only 10 bucks in my checking account... If they don't trust me they MIGHT actually inquire with the bank as to the validity of my cartoon drawn check?

Yeah saw that.

You know what's messed up?

Everyone I know firsthand w/ serious coin, they all pinch their pennies...I mean watch every dime. It's part of how they got there and it never ends.

Not that they don't spend, but they don't waste.

Might be different for those that inherit but for those that've earned it the old fashioned way, never ceases to amaze me how careful they are w/ the moola I'm sure there are those who are not, but that's been my experience.

Trustfund babies buying budget TV's.
Multi-millionaires, to the point where their kids are trustfund babies, busting my nuts over research for a couple computer monitors...the kind of research I wouldn't bother with myself. Takes all kinds I guess.

Hey, maybe another WT raffle? er, I mean donation? $500 to get in for a ticket...haha

"41 miles and the sickest street bike ever..."

What I want to know is, why ride it on the street?
I took a demo ride on a 848 last weekend & felt like it'd make a way better track bike than a street bike. I can't imagine how much would be wasted / untouched by limiting that badboy to the street ?

It's like owners of high end exoctic sports cars. 3 and 4 year old cars with a few hundred miles on them.

I say just buy a poster if you are not going to ride/drive it, it's a whole lot cheaper.

I actually got mine muddy bringing it home

Okay, truth be told it was on a trailer... I was checking out a MX track & damn-near got the pickup & trailer stuck.
Chunks of flying mud bombarded the bike so I had to wash it and the trailer before I got home with it.

I mean really. How do you sell a bike with only 41 miles?

That's like wiping before you poop. Don't make sense other than practice

Well the guy below that FS post summed it up "someone should buy that and put it in their living room or office"

I go on that forum a lot to shop for a car. Everyone on there is a poser for looks. Sickening.

I would've loved too...Ironicly, The car is back in Miami right now. He had it shipped back there like two weeks ago while he is working in another state. He's getting a few things done to it He can never leave anything alone...I'm the same way though. He and his brother are flying down there in a few weeks to pick it back up and drive it back...Again

It's surprising how many people buy exotic sports cars and never drive them. Some even use the excuse that they are too busy working all the time ...

Good place to find deals... When a car isn't the newest fad-look anymore they go for cheap there.

If he paid MSRP for that bike and sold it for 52.5 than it cost him $487 per mile to own that bike :-)

I was in Ray Evernham's shop on Tuesday... yes, that Ray Evernham. He had quite the collection of cars. Some new and some really old. The thing I noticed... every single one of them was tagged and inspected and they were all current. Apparently there is someone who does like to drive their toys.

So $75k for the bike new. He put 41 miles on it and then sold it for $52.5k, what a tool. So he spent almost $550 a mile. This makes a chromed out HD look like a good investment, talk about losing value riding it off the lot, Damn.

After many years and many dreams I have realized my goal of riding in all 50 states!

Now the rest of the world!

Every now and then go away and have a little relaxation. To remain constantly at work will diminish your judgment. --Leonardo Da Vinci

I used to work at the NBC Burbank lot, and apparently Jay Leno would drive a different vehicle to work every day, at least that's what the morning shift front gate guy said.
