Me too! But with a new Wing in the garage and not much free time, there just isn't good reason to have two bikes in the garage. I hope it goes to a good home. It's a terrific bike, bulletproof, powerful, comfortable, and great for long distance or a scoot around town. Very versatile!

Ken,

What an awesome ride! Someone is going to be very, very, extremely lucky to own it! Unfortunately the timing is bad for me now.

Good luck with the sale!

D*mn, Ken!

I just settled with the insurance company on my bike last Friday. I was deciding between letting them keep the bike, and giving me $10k, or I keep the 919, and get back $6.3k.

The 1 bike I was looking for to replace the 919 was the Bandit 1250. If I could find a good deal on one, I would've let them keep the 919, and used the $10k for a Bandit. I couldn't find any good deals without having to spend alot more to accessorize it, so I decided to keep the 919 and fix her up. Then you post this up "the next business day."

This Bandit would have been perfect for my wife to enjoy riding with me.

Wow, can't believe you're selling it Ken! I remember when you bought it, seems like yesterday. Of course I just sold the '07 FJR as well, priorities change.

Yeah, kinda. I already authorized the body shop to start on the bike; placed some Orders for some parts, including committing to buy 3dcycle's Tank and Tail; and got the check in the mail today!

I floated a trial balloon to Misses to keep your perfect 2up ride in the WT family, but the front office didn't budge. Apparently she is very comfy on the 9er with the bill mayers saddle. Hopefully your ride goes to a very deserving home!

Glad you understand. Apparently I'll be a single-bike guy forever. I am still luckier than most. But I can't let my SO near the GW corner of Honda's showroom or she'll want to trade.

Those wings are awesome machines. Rode one last year and was amazed at the handling, and that engine rocks. Enjoy.
