FS: 2002 Honda 919

I'm selling my 919 that I just purchased... I started a new job with a long commute and longer hours... My wife and I keep pretty busy on weekends, so i have no time to ride it. It's an awesome bike that I can't use... it's torture to see it just sitting around

mileage: 2700

condition: Like New

Modifications: D&D exhaust, suburban machinery type 2 handlebars
(1.0" wider, 2.1" lower and 2.75" farther forward)

Location: Danbury CT

Price: $4700

I have the stock bars and exhaust

Just A NOTE...

The 02-03 919'S are the fastest production 9ers out there.

Why 02and 03 faster

Because the newer ones are weighted down with the clock and extra adjustments on the forks. Extra weight means slower bikes.

I really like the look of those bars, how do they feel?

2700 Miles!!! I've only had my bike for about 3 months and have 3K on it!!! Guess I'm out riding it to much, if there is such a thing as to much?

Danbury...unbelievable *sigh*

02 are faster because the fuel map is different, they de-nutted it later after all the 'stink' whining

I came from a sportsbike, so i'm used to leaning forward. That being said, the tank on the 919 is more sloped than a sportbike so it doesn't support your weight as much as a sportbike would, so it puts alot of pressure on my wrists.

I should have prefaced this with i'm really short (5'5"). So for taller people I'm sure these would be great

Right after I picked up the bike, i started my new job with a big commute and longer hours. That's why I haven't put any miles on it.
