For your Hooligan pleasure!!!!

For your hooligan pleasure!!!
This is one fun bike to ride! As is, this bike will easily do 120MPH on the highway. No worry about traffic and it will jump just about anything.

This is a 2001 Honda XR650R, the motor was sent off to Bare Bones Racing in Colorado in perfect working condition for the sole purpose of just adding some reliable pep to it. A new Nikelsiled sleeve was installed with a new higher compression,10.5:1 Ross lite weight piston which increased bore to 680cc, new valves, ect. I have the receipt of work done.

Other mods included on the bike:
Baja Designs Street package with modified headlight (so you can actually be seen on the road)
Edlebrock pumper carb (makes all the difference in how this bike runs!)
Powerbomb header
Two Brothers E series muf
310mm Front brake rotor w/caliper offset bracket
SV650 Front Radial brake caliper
RAD Supermoto wheels
Probably 2000 miles left on both front and rear tires.
Race Teched front forks
PBR steering stablizer
Trail Tech Speedo
Custom Dash
Gold Xring DID chain (almost new)
Multiple front and rear sprockets (depending on your riding style)
XR's Only case protector

(Items to be sold separately or negotiated)
ProMoto Billet, billet rear rack. (perfect for carrying anything including a passenger)
Clark 4.3 gallon gas tank
Stock off road wheels with like new off roard tires. (Can be swapped out in about 30 minutes)
Custom made rear passenger pegs.

Enjoy the pics and video!
Watch it perform

I gotta sell a couple of bikes first before I start thinking about buying another one, unless you're interested in a Sport Tourer or Eurocruiser.

If he dropped it to $3500 ... I'd jump on a Southwest flight this week and ride it back east!

Someone asked earlier but I didn't see an answer, it does have electric start right? I remember a buddy had an old XR500 kick start, that thing would kill you trying to get it started.

No sir no electric start that's just a waste of weight, this is a real mans bike!
I wonder if he had a compression release on that bike? With the compression release it's usually a matter of one kick and and it's running. Also the Edlebrock carb made a huge difference also.

This bike is bad*ss!! I've seen it, and rode it, and I can tell you right now... Jim takes very good care of his toys, and when he spends money on them, he goes TOL.
