For Sale: 2006 919.

I hate to do it, but I am selling my 919.

Bike is is great shape with only 6400 miles.

The bike has never been dropped or crashed.

Oil and filter changed every 3,000 miles after 600 mile service.

Always garage kept, and meticulously maintained.

Comes with Oem Honda flyscreen

Yoshimura exhaust with less than 600 miles on em. (still have the stock cans)

Motivation frame sliders.

Corbin seat with custom removable passenger backrest (stock seat included)

Under tail rear fender removal kit, with led blinkers. (still have the stock fender)

Custom service stand.

Like new Michelin Pilot Road 2cts on it front and rear.

Xring chain.

Dowco tail bag.

Givi Soft saddlebags.

Asking $6499.

Just before putting on the yosh cans.

backrest

The bike is perfect except for a small rub in the clear coat from my tankbag. Not through the paint or anything, just a small hazy place. Will try to get a pic asap.

Pics from today.

Please keep in mind she has not been cleaned up since my wife and I's 300 mile trip across the skyway.

First pic is a pic of the rub in the clear coat on the tank. I circled the area.

It's very minor,

That's ironic -- I went from an ST1300 to a 919.

IHO going from the 919 to ST1300 is a comfort over correction. He could leverage your education and skip a step. link:

Wish I had the cash/credit to get another 9er. Mine doesn't ride the same after my 'incident' a few months ago. The only thing I'd do to yours is clean up the header/midpipe and maybe throw some different rearsets on it. That is of course only in my dreams since I don't have the cash to buy the bike. Hope the bump helps.

Does anyone have any experience with the motivation sliders? Are they effective?

Never tested these, but they look like they would protect the bike.

You have to drill the frame, and run a steel rod across.

Would you consider selling the Givi saddle bags off of it? I would like to get some bigger ones like those. They are huge! If so PM me a price. Do those just have two straps under the seat, or is there a rear strap that you have wrapped around the grab handle?

Yeah sell of some of that good stuff to us and advertise it "mint stock unmolested" on craigslist with the price reduced what ever amount you got for the goodies. no one would know!!!! What ever goodies you dont sell leave on for someone as a perk but, it wont add much to the sale price really.

Oh and I want the seat... just fyi.

So thats seat and bags gone.. bet the exhaust would go fast. No you can drop the price a few hundred more and get buyers attention. anything in the 5k range would go fast.
