Feeler: F4i Gauge Cluster Setup

I may be willing to trade my F4i full swap with water temp sensor, mount, and all..........plug and play for your 919. IF, you send me your gauges('04+ since mine is an '05 and the pre-04 won't work), 10,500 miles or less and $150 in trade. Let me know.

I'm not parting an F4i, just have the swap stuff for the 919 gauges. Sorry.

Yes sir, I'm gonna get a lot more out of the bike this way. People never want to pay for a modded bike

Well look at it this way, you built the bike to ride up to Indy for MotoGP, it became locally famous, and now having fulfilled its special purpose it's being transformed back into a merely mortal machine.

Trade only? Also, will this F4i gauge fit on an '03 919? (I ask, since as you mentioned, the 02-03 are not the same as the 04+)

Trade only since I wouldn't have gauges to sell the bike with otherwise. I have no experience with the older gauges, I'm just going off what I recall reading.

you can make the gauges work on 02/03 bikes, but you do have to chop up the connectors (or locate a gauge side replacement plug) "moding" the plug is just a matter of using a single tool (toothpick would probably work) a little bit of patience, and knowing which wires go where in the plug! You may (or may not) have an extra wire left over when it is all said and done. I believe 04+ removed a redundant ground from the setup, but don't quote me on that! Its been well over a year since I've looked at the difference between the two.

If you have '04+ gauges and $50!!! We can make this trade happen. Close to 10k miles preferred. Let me know. Price lowered as I have an elderly gentlemen interested in the bike and I'm thinking he'd like it close to stock.
