**DONATED** Oberon fuel cap Honda

I had this on my Honda 919 for just a couple of months. Half turn release, keyless fuel cap. Silver base, titanium cap. IMO, the best looking motorcycle fuel cap on the market. $110 shipped. Thanks.

I don't know what Honda's gas cap designer was thinking.
I wish it opened the other way.

I've never liked the key idea. Just my preference. This cap gives the tank a much better look.

No problemo! If I weren't deployed, and 10,000 miles from home. I'd probably buy this. But alas.... *homesick*

Three mount points. Single at the top, two at the bottom. You might be able to turn it 1/3 either way and try that, if you always fuel from the same side of the bike.

But even that might not work if the three mount points aren't all spaced the same distance apart.

Unbolt the gas cap using an the allen head in your tool kit, that is the easiest way to open up the gas tank without damaging the lock. (without being a lock pic artist)

Take a look at the pictures above to see which socket head cap screws are actually clamping and which are for show. Remove and fill.

The places my 919 has taken me:

The two flanking the hinge and the one directly opposite the hinge are all that hold it onto the tank.
