919 tank lid / fuel cap.

I'm thinking of running my 919 at the track (cause I wrecked my track bike, Hrmm.....) and I have a spare fuel tank, but no lid. Anyone got a lid they would let go of cheap? Thanks.

When you swap tanks you can also swap fuel caps.

True, but then I've got a mostly full tank of gas without a cap.... If I plan carefully I'll have a mostly empty tank of gas without a cap. Then when I switch back the problem repeats, except instead of being without a cap for two day's it would be for perhaps months... Either way I'd prefer to have a cap for each tank. Keeps crap out, helps keep the gas in...

I realize that I dont have to have a lid to swap tanks, however I would prefer a lid...

Most cb/f4i/cbr caps will work. Just get a universal cap off ebay they cheap and keyless, perfect for a track application.

If you want OEM style with a key, they're only $20:

so do you have a spare fuel pump and whole 9 yards or are you swapping that all of the time as well? Id really worry about the gasket getting messed up moving it frequently.

Yeah I've got the pump and everything else. Looks like I'll be ordering one from china and plugging the hole with a rag til it gets here
