Still slightly damaged from when I layed it down in August. It still works, but I recently found that the back of the headlight unit (the reflective portion) has a giant crack along the top. Need to replace it before the rain starts to fall here. Figured I would try here and ebay (no joy there) before I ordered a new one.

What are your plans for the old busted one?

Don't know. The glass is scuffed...a hell, I got a picture of it somewhere. The first pic was taken about 7 hours after the accident and the second one I took a month later after I got it running again. You got an experiment brewing in your head?

That I do, my friend. My old KZ440 has an absolute garbage incandescent stock headlight that could use a replacement. The headlight will have a fairing over it anyway, so cracks won't bother me a bit.

Well then, as soon as I get a new one I will let you know. I was gonna try and sell it on ebay, but there is no need to now.

Darkace - if you haven't found one yet, I can probably be persuaded to part with mine. It's in great condition and works perfectly.
Just make a reasonable offer...
Mike
