919 2002 for sale

Ok, so I bought this single cylinder 2002 XR650L beater and dump my 919. Hell, i never dropped it for a year+ I rode it. I dropped XR five times in a week already ))

well, I need new toys for my new bike and 919 is for sale

I put it on e-bay first like it is with Sw-motech cage and windshield and bags, new tires, for 3700, and it did not go. So my plan is to sell upgrades separately to those who need them and relist it at lower price

so, what do you use to polish the pipe headers - never did it before but it looks like I need to do it - it seems larger number digs looks more than function )

Your 02 wouldn't sell for $3700?!?! Damn. I just paid 4500 for mine and thought it was a steal!

Anyway, i might bid on the crash bars.

I considered bidding on it, but shipping from CA>TX would have sucked something aweful. Especially when there is a new and a used 919 at one of the local dealerships that I've been drooling over

well, 4500 is kinda high retail on 02 919 according to Nadaguide, though I paid more than high retail ($2800) on my current 2002 XR650L which is in harsh condition.. and it was the cheapest I could find - people were asking 3K for 97-99 bikes ..

Ok, I replaced the covers scratched by PO with new ones and listed old ones on ebay. (#170219267221 and others). I will give it another try and list the bike on e-bay with $3200 starting bid ..
