Looks clean to me! The banner isn't all that hot, but that's not an issue.

I've got an iphone and an android, I'll test on both later.

But hey, if you like giving your history, usage stats and everything else that Chrome cheerfully and openly ships back to Google, be my guest.

One more thing - I work in IT for a living. One of the things I insist on with web-interfacing software is basic functionality testing with *all* of the major browsers - IE/Spartan, Chrome, Firefox and *especially* Safari. Safari users are the most likely to buy a product (like, say, the Premium offering I see there at the top of the forum list page?) and are often willing to spend more than other browser users. They have the highest sales per click in terms of percentage and sheer dollar amounts. It looks like you guys don't believe in that, though.
True, I help admin the whole AutoGuide.com, Motorcycle.com, and ATV.com network of sites and these conversions and see the least amount of issues on Chrome so that is why I sue it.

The team does build out for multiple browsers but there are so many variables that some things just don't jive. I honestly am fine with it, if somebody wants my info they can find it.

We will be setting up the paid memberships, they will probably go live next week since my teams in other time zones are logging off. I am based out of Chicago and mainly the people person to come in and do the Office Space thing.

Do you have any pop up blockers or something that might kill it?

I have AdBlock Plus but even after disabling it the sidebar does not appear. Geico, Allstate and Honda ads appear, but the sidebar doesn't.

Wacky stuff man, created test accounts and check the user groups and working fine there.

Will have some people dig deeper.

I like the new look especially the mobile layout. Seems like most stuff is still here, just moved around a bit. In the garage....is there anyway to make the attributes more motorcycle-like? The "In-car entertainment" and "under the hood" sections don't make too much sense for a bike.

I believe this little graphic is simply because Google only supports the two most recent versions of any browser.

During the last few years, Microsoft released Windows 8 and Internet Explorer 11, which created non-support for Gmail with Windows XP users, since Microsoft ended Internet Explorer support for Windows XP with Internet Explorer 8.

The dialog provided to the user strongly worded such that the user simply clicked and installed Chrome...

So, I wouldn't be basing my design decisions on Chrome's superiority... I am sure its only temporary.

All that graphic shows me, is that there are a lot of Windows XP users that also use Gmail.

I found an issue - when clicking the down arrow for the 'go to the last unread' link, it takes you too far down the page.

See images: The first one is what I see, the second is what I 'find' when I scroll up one click.

Running latest version of Chrome, with Adblock.

We'd be worse except we have/had a significant fraction of young, usually reasonably attractive female members and we generally don't want to run them off. Goldwing guys are generally too old to remember how their genitals worked and YellowBullet guys are always busy measuring penis sizes then wondering why there are few female members or drivers.

Dunno. The last number I had for her went to a voice mail box with a generic robo-greeting and I never got a call back from that number.

Last I heard, she worked for one of the local universities as a geologist or something. Now that they're back in session, I'll swing by the uni and see if her bike is parked there; failing that I'll ask her department secretary and see if she's okay. Health and welfare check only, nothing stalker-ish; sadly entirely too many of us riders disappear off forums not for the normal reasons people bail from forums but because someone mowed us down with a car or we had a bad day with street furniture.

Viewing the full site on my Iphone 5S (IOS8/Safari) ad banners stretch the page, yet the content is kept slim.
Also when replying to some threads on a chromebook, it caused my chromebook to slow down, delayed typing and such. My chromebook is a 4GB model and that has never happened before, ever, on any site.

Could have been a fluke. I'll update you if it keeps happening, but the iphone issue is friggin annoying.

Would it be possible to put the "mark posts read" on the menu bar instead of the quick links drop down menu?

This reminds me of when you go to your favorite grocery store, where you knew exactly where everything you needed, was. And then they moved everything. I'll get used to this. And maybe soon, the page won't have to reload 4 or 5 times. But honestly, Why? This is different, not better.

I had to hit the "Edit" button twice, and the page had to reload only 3 times, this time. See, thing are getting better already.

I'm a fan of sites that do minor changes over a long period. Change the look. Then slowly change the layout.

Chevron icon? Maybe I'm missing it since a lot of stuff is cut off.

Exactly my thoughts, I am all of a sudden having troubles with "lost connection to site" issues, I click on the go to last post "chevron" and it transports me to a magical white world that tells me it can't do what I asked, "would you like to try again?"
