Moderator Approval...

I tried to start a new topic about my busted rev counter in the Mechanical & Technical subforum. On submitting, it said that the post had to be approved first by a moderator which is fair enough, but it hasn't appeared.
I've submitted it twice now, the first time 4-5 days ago and again a few days later but neither has appeared. Am I likely to have done something wrong, or do I just need to be more patient?

Thanks!

Weird.
I just did a test thread start and it appeared instantly on the website for all to see.
I'm not aware of any restrictions upon new or recent members to start a thread.
I'm not a Moderator.

Are you trying to somehow do a "post", instead of "starting a new thread"?
Seeing as you are not posting against an existing thread, you need to start a new thread.

Thanks for that mcromo44. From the forum root, the only option I have is 'Post New Thread' which is what I did (twice!)

I imagine it could be a post count restriction for new members, or because of image types/sizes perhaps, but clarification from a moderator would be appreciated before I try again.
