is it big enough?

Been a lot of years since I rode last, looking at getting a 1987 Vulcan 750 to ride the 100 miles from home to work twice a week is it a big enough bike for a 6'2" 260# man?

Go sit on it and take a picture... Can't make it look any smaller than Michael Jordan on a GP bike.

I've taken it for a test ride on side streets and it is comfortable, I'm asking if it can run 75-80mph for the whole 1.5 hours from cedar city it to Mesquite nv?

most bikes can do that, its a 750 so shouldn't be a problem. on my old Ninja 250 i ran 6-7hrs straight on the highway from Richmond VA to Pittsburgh, PA at those speeds.

I would just make sure its in good mechanical shape, like new plugs, fresh oil change, good battery, good tires ect.

I can run 90ish mph all day long on either 250. I sure hope a 750 could do it.

This is what I was thinking. A 750 ought to be able to haul you and the missus at 80mph all day long.

Mods, this should probably get moved to a more appropriate section of the forum. It hardly seems a "help desk" type thread.

Guys, Mesquite Nevada makes Hell look comfortable. There is no substitute for cubes no matter what your pet steed is in that place. That 250 would turn into smoke, beef.
