Increase edit time

Could we increase the time we are allowed to edit a post?

I posted a reply to a thread less than 12 hours ago, and went to edit my post just now to add some pictures and found out I can't edit the post.

Seems like the edit window is a bit low?

Yeah I think it's only about an hour edit window after the post

Leave it as it is and have a MOD modify the post if need be. Nothing more frustrating than someone going back and editing all of their previous content.

I thought the edit window was only like 15 minutes or so. Just long enough for one to proof read and make modifications after hitting the submit button.

This reminds me of that one guy that wanted us to delete all of his posts... and a few times I would post on facebook, wait for someone else to reply, then change my original comment to make them look silly.

if you love your motorcycle, set it free.. if it comes back and hits you.. you highsided

Current time is 40 minutes and I'm completely fine with taking the extra time (as a mod) to change any requests from members. I agree it needs to have a limited time, though, it can really jack with the thread if everyone has unlimited editing time.

Heard back from the mod team and they too like the edit limit how it is. If you need any edits pleas contact any of the mod/admin team.

More than 40 minutes is a repost or new post and not a correction or edit.
I find the 40 minutes tight though, as some of mine take almost 40 minutes to check read after posting ..............
