Exclamation Connection problems

Hey, I'm getting a problem when I try to connect to the site on my other laptop. My other computer is a bit older and connects via a wireless adapter (Netgear WNA1100 N150). I am able to load the main page and usually the forums, however upon clicking on topics the page fails to make a connection with the website. I have run diagnostics on my computers speed and all seems to be well, and I am able to connect to all other websites I try. I was wondering if you know of this having happened before, or if this website uses any programs that may not be installed on an older computer.

Sounds like your wireless is losing it's connection, which I would doubt would have anything to do with the site. Maybe a compatibility problem with your network adapter and modem. Maybe you can try to reload the network adapter driver and see if that helps.

If you want to see if it's your WiFi on the laptop, plug it to a network cable and access the forum.

Thats a good idea. Also what browser are you using? You could try a different one to see of thats the issue. Try not to use Internet explorer, personally I'm a firefox guy but tons of people like google chrome also.

Also try and reset your browser back to default settings - clear out temp files, cache, cookies. Download Ccleaner and run it - deleting everything but your history, if you so choose to keep it.

Usually that clears up any connection problems - especially if it seems to only be site specific.

Also check to make sure you don't have a software firewall causing the problem. Norton Internet Security is usually the first culprit I hear about.
