When you have a Honda 919 with no centerstand, you don't have a front wheel stand, and you don't have the money to buy either? You improvise in the most ghetto ******* fashion you can:

Made from scrap lumber that I had in the garage, 2 steel corner brackets, and a 4' long pipe clamp. Lifted the bike with 2 ratchet straps. Worked quite well, although I kept waiting for it to fall. I did put the axle back in the forks and then put jack stands underneath it to support it's weight while I had the tire off.

I put mine on the center stand I bought from Phobman, then have someone lean on the rear (to lift the front) while I slide a cinder block with a piece of 1/4 plywood on top (cut to size) under the header. I figure it has no more than 50 pounds sitting on the headers since I can pick the front off the ground with one hand when on the center stand.

Talk about a Presidential Resolution!
