What can cause a bike to run rich?

what are the reasons a stock bike will run richer than normal?
my bike is running very rich and i am trying to run down the problem.
the fpr has a good seal and is not leaking.

I'll take stab. The computer either thinks it's getting more Air than it actually is, or the comptuter thinks the engine and or air is colder than it actually is. I'm guessing prime culprits would be temperature sensing devices and throttle position sensors. Seems to be that way with my car atleast. I'm not all that familiar with motorcycle EFI systems though, use a grain of salt
