I am one of those dudes who uses the gas light to gauge when I need to refill the ole bike (along with the trip meter)...but apparently the light has died. Is the bulb easy to replace?

Eh, not EASY, per say, but very doable. Just take the back cover off the gauges; you might have to pull the circuit board as well.

All this is done easiest with the gauges off the bike, so you'll most likely have to remove the headlight bucket as well.

More like 1 hour or so if you have to remove the pcb.

Pun intended?

Yeah, give yourself an hour if you've taken the gauges apart before. Up to 2 if you've never had the front end apart.
