4. If your bike has them on the engine mounts, move them to the frame.

I've heard they can bend the frame as well, only good for light drops, like I did the other day when my bike got knocked in the garage and scratched the left side of the engine.

Iíve crashed twice on my guards, both serious drops, and the frame wasnít bent.
