Service info

I know most riders change their oil on a regular basis but a lot forget to change and flush there brake and clutch fluid. New brake fluid has water like consistency then it will get thicker like soda or syrup then it will turn jelly like and the worst I have seen was a peanut butter like paste. This can make your brakes drag, stick or fail while riding.

I bleed my brake lines every year and basically change the fluid at the same time by using a pint to do the front and rear master cylinders. Got into this habit after owning a Triumph 955 and Speed Four and getting tired of mushy levers every Spring.

Just remember your brake lines, fuel lines, radiator hoses, caliper and master cyclinder seals only have a 3-4 year life span unless they are steel braided for brake and fuel or silicone for the radiator.
