replacement throttle tube..are they all the same?

long story short...the PO glued heated grips onto the bike. I have replaced the bars, but cannot re-use the throttle tube because the heated grips are hard grips, and they are glued on.

I need to get a replacement throttle tube....do I need to go to the dealer? or will your basic motion pro throttle tube work? the honda parts diagram hasnt been very insightful

Motocross grips and throttle tubes are shorter than street grips and throttles. The Motion Pro might be an MX throttle tube - you could use it, but you would have to use shorter grips and move the throttle/ switch housing toward the end of the bar (or have your bars hanging out the end of the grips). If it's a dual-cable Motion Pro throttle tube for a honda street bike, it will probably work fine.
