RC51 SP1 Fork and Wheel match

Is there any way to match my RC 51 Fork SP1 with my F3 wheel? Thanks for your time.

I actually think it's a direct fit - you'll need to fabricate some spacers I believe.

I'll let others chime in who have that exact setup. I know I had a F3 front wheel on the stock 919 forks but with RC51 calipers.

NM, looks like it was a SP2 wheel I saw - but the look is similar.

The bearing/hub diameters are complete different .... also the rotors are way to small on the F3 wheel for the RC51 caliper bracket set up.

Will the 919 rotors and calipers work with the RC51 SP1 wheel?

no. For the swap you will need rc51 wheel and rotors

The 9er rotors will bolt up to the RC wheel but the outer diameter of the 9er rotor is too small (296mm vs 320mm)

I went with new OEM. You won't be disappointed. Not the best but very good.

Hi Helimech

Happy New Year! Ok so I have made progress on my 02 919. It is finally in my possession. So I am on my parts gathering mission.

I have purchased a front RC51 SP1 wheel and front fork. My question is which rotor year and model should I use to work with my stock calipers? I am looking at EBC rotors to replace the originals.

I also have the Rear 954 wheel as well. Same question.

Thanks again for your time and support.

Sincerely,

AWP34

Any RC 51 rotor will work, only difference was carrier color, I'm not sure if the 954 rear wheel works or not, the CBR900RR is a direct swap. If you're going to go to all this trouble might as well swap to the RC calipers and master too, they really are an improvement
