Question on 599 wind screen on 919

I've had few screens in the last year I have the bike (including the Chinese $25 one). The $25 one that looks an F16 replica was by far the best on wind protection vs buffer noise BUT, it broke (as somebody mentioned in another thread). I tried to find an OEM one but as we all know it can't be find in states.
I wander if the 599 screen will fit the 919 - I'm thinking if the bracket will fit. If I remember there was a thread on 599 headlamp swap and I think one of the members has a 599 and a 919 and I think he mentioned that the distance between the 3 side bolts is identical. If that's the case, I may be able to use a 599 screen.

Thoughts?

Why not just leave the windscreen off? I had the OEM windscreen and it didn't do squat... AND the bike looks better without one.

I have a 599 windscreen ($19 on Ebay). Made my own brackets out of plexiglass.

I try it over the weekend and I'm not a fan... It looks better but at high speeds and long rides, may take a toll in your arms.

Anytime Todi. We can meet up for a ride sometime. I have had it on there for quite a while. I recently remade the brackets because they were getting a little dingy looking. Plexiglass is really easy to work with and pretty strong.
