Question about Pilot Road 3 tires.

I know that there are lots of threads about tires for the 9er, but I hadn't seen this addressed in any other thread.

I need to replace my rear and I've decided on the PR3 but what about the "B" or non "B" models. I don't do much riding with saddle bags or gear besides an occasional backpack. Can anybody who has the "B" model check in and give me their advice? Are they worth the extra cash?

The B model is rated for xtra load, you don't need it. I'm using the standard PR3 with a full set of Givi bags and have had no problems. When I was getting ready to buy tires I called Michelin and asked about the B model, I was told it is for full size touring bikes.

I have the PR3s on my 919 and just did a Motorcycle Gymkhana.

Those things grip!
