Penske shock rebuild questions

I'm looking to freshen up my rear shock this winter and from what I've been reading I can do it myself. It's long.. overdue. I purchased the bike with it already installed at 10K miles and now it's at 36K. What would I need to rebuild it. Special tools? Oil obviously, but what kind and weight. New seals? New spring? Any help appreciated. I've done forks before, so I figured I could tackle this myself with other people's knowledge of course. It has an external reservoir with the adjustment knob if that helps.
