PCIII and danmoto cans

Curious discussion with my burly grease merchant yesterday, which leaned briefly towards his contempt for the danmoto cans on my 919. I didnt put them there, and whilst I quite like the look, they are overly loud and others have suggested disdain for their value. As for the croatian bear man...he was mumbling, seemingly not specifically at me, more to the world at large, something along the lines of
"horrible things...no back pressure...no good for any map..not going to get much of a tune with these cans..."

I nodded, knowingly, but didn't make much sense of his grumbling...Was he taking his hatred of the danmoto cans too far? Or was there some wisdom!

I tried cheap chinese cans once. They were loud and obnoxious. No baffles and worse very little packing in the muffler. All my gear used to stink of exhaust.
They eventually fell apart and I replaced them with some UK made cans. These sound better, well made and solid. Baffles available and loads of internal packing.
Bike runs better and nothing stinks of exhaust anymore.

i have no complaints with the Danmoto CF. i put the baffle in so they're not that loud, just deeper.

Haven't noticed any performance issues either... 9er still pulls like a truck :P

You could try chucking some baffles in your Danmoto cans.
