Opps! Though BOTH sides of the wires were marked.

I removed 3 of the 4 spark plug wires and looked at the end to make sure they were marked.

I didn't look at the OTHER end

Ok, the front coil is the yellow/blue and the rear coil is blue/yellow

The yellow/blue(front) coil is 1/4
The blue/yellow(rear) coil is 2/3

However, I can't seem to find which wire goes on which coil spot.

I didn't remove 1 from the front, so it's just the rear (blue/yellow) 2/3 coil

It look like #2 goes on top and #3 goes on bottom judging from the rubber hose marks on the wire covers.

Q. Can someone confirm the #2 plug wire goes to the top of the rear (blue/yellow) coil?

Thanks.

My old 700S had both ends marked, and the service manual doesn't have usable pics showing this.

If you look at page 17-0 of the service manual, it labels the rear coil as 1/4 which would be wrong.

Maybe they changed things over the years? Doubt it, but this is the 2006 919.

Ok, found a pic on Bike Bandit, so it looks like the #2 goes on top and the pic in the manual is wrong or hard to see. it really looks backwards in the pdf manual.
