Odometer Data

Just a quick question. I'm looking to switch out the gauges on my 02 919, and wanted to confirm that the odometer mileage is stored in the gauges and not the computer, yes?

Thanks

Only half of what it had originally, haha. But I never cracked even 10k miles, so on a 919 does that really matter that much :-P

Also, I was reading around the forums and read that if you order a new set from the dealer that they can set the odometer for you. Any truth to this?
