Hey Everyone I'm Anu Amen-Ra and just bought a 2007 919 and would like any advice you have to give! I'm also a beginner rider!

Welcome!
Tell us about the bike and maybe post some pics. The 919 is quite a bit for a starter bike, but so was my 700 years ago.

Because you're a beginner, we should remind you about changing the fluids and checking the age of your tires. I just had an ordeal because of a bad fork seal that let water into the fork. A full check for any cracked/broken rubber seals, leaks, etc...

Most here, including me are fans of the MSF and other training classes, there's always something to learn.

Welcome Anu and congrats on the 919. If you haven't taken the MSF rider course or similar, I would do that immediately. As far as the bike, I would ride it and mod what bugs you the most.

Ride safe and enjoy!

Beginner rider huh.....well, I, now this is just my opinion, but the 919 is a whole lotta power for a "beginner rider" but welcome and be safe, please.
