Need PCIII map suggestions

Hello fellow 919ers, I need help. I recently bought a 2002 919. It ran fine until I did the baffleectomy, now is spurts and sputters thru all the gears and rpm range. I installed a new power commander iii, and need a map for these mods. K&N insert, debaffled, flap mod. I'm running the 112-005 yoshi type map now and it helped a lot, but it still jerks and sputters up to 3,500 rpm

Hello and welcome! Did you sync the throttle on the PCIII?

The moriwaki map is one of the best ones on there.

You might want to just try swapping out the K&N filter for the OEM just to see if it corrects the low rpm fueling problem. That has been a known issue for many 919 owners.

Just for the hell of it, double check your connections to make sure they are solid. I seem to remember this happening with a loose connection on the PCIII. I'd try the air filter as well.

I have never used the 112-005 map.
But the Moriwaki version 4 map is known to be an excellent map for use with a range of good slip on twin can setups on 919s.
I'd be using that as the starting point map, not the 112-005.
Also, in addition to the above suggestions, maybe you have have a corrupted map file or related ill.
Anyway, double check you closed throttle synch, refit the stock filter, check all the PC3usb connections - especially the wire tap connections, and re load a suitable map.
Then see how you make out.
