Methinks it's time for a new clutch.
In any gear, when I crack the throttle, the rpms race up as if i'm lightly squeezing the clutch. I can feel it start to grab as I ease off the throttle or hold it steady.
Plenty of oil, and it's about 2k miles into the last oil change. Just the boring oil, there's no energy saving bullshit causing it to slip.
Had the proper amount of slack in the cable, even put too much slack to make sure. The cable is getting very close to the end of adjustment on both ends.
A clutch at about 18k doesn't seem too out of the ordinary does it?
I only use the clutch when I'm slowing down to go into first, or taking off in first. Otherwise almost all others shifts are clutchless, up and down.
What clutch and where do most members get theirs?
Any tips or tricks I need to know?
