Messed up throttle

Soooooo... I was trying to install a bar end mirror on my throttle side, I removed the weight in the handle bar and now my throttle is jacked.

I can still roll it back but it feels really tight maybe and doesn't roll off on its own. The throttle cable itself doesn't seem tight and still moves around after the grip. There's also a very definite click when I roll it all the way off.

I have a very basic knowledge of bike mechanics and would love any help you guys can give me. I feel like I did a real stupid and have no idea what the stupid was haha

I'm trying to link a video of it soon to help, thanks guys

Fixed! Turns out a piece of the core had broken and got wedged between the bar and the grip. Took it apart and were good to go!
