water pump is known to leak on the 9er. Look at the weep hole for any signs of coolant. If it is just leaking from the overflow, you have too much coolant

I have coolant leaking from the "weep" hole. What does this mean? Please educate me as I just flushed and replaced the coolant and seals thinking it was a cracked gasket and now learn about/notice this infamous (still leaking) "weep" hole.
