Is ACDelco ATZ10SBS the same as YTZ 10S?

The measurements look to be the same, but I don't know what the BS is.

From what I gather the 10 is the battery size group

The Y seems to be Yuasa specific

Anyone know the breakdown or what the BS stands for.

Wow, searched all over, can't find any guide. They don't list 10S vs 10S-BS.

In fact Amazon only list AC Delco for this number.

It mentions the CCA as 290, I don't think that's par for the other batteries I've seen.
Here's a link ACDelco ATZ10SBS (10S-BS) Maintenance Free Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) Powersport Battery : Amazon.com : Automotive

The guide shows it replaces BTZ10S.

I also just noticed it ships in 2 to 5 weeks. Dam!

Might just forget it.

From my experience, just get the YTZ10S or anything KNOWN or LISTED to be compatible.

I tried two different brands/sizes that looked 'close enough'. One wouldn't fit, by literally a millimeter, the other was too small and did not have enough cranking amps.

The main reason for looking at this battery is the cost. It's on sale for about $20.

Most locals want $80 to 140.

Most brands are the same as online. Even the online ones don't compare to the $20 AC Delco.

The measurements seem the same.

Screw this! I just checked the total price and shipping time.

It's over a MONTH! !!!! The total would be $35...

A MONTH! Who's going to wait over a month for a stupid battery?

Local shop wins!

I am that cheap. I bought one. I have prime so it was like 24 dollars. I'll let you all know how bad it is,
but I'm sure it will be as fine as my 25 dollar ebay special from last year.
I really only expect one season from them.

IDK, AC Delco is a well known brand, and they are 1/2 off... I might be that they are just dumping the line of batteries.

I bought an engine for my truck years ago from AC Delco and it's still running great. The blew them out at 1/2 off when some accountant said "the numbers don't work"

I really don't think they deal with crap.

Let us know how long it take to get it.

Ok, so I guess the question of fitment is answered? This battery will fit?

Also, it isn't sealed and the acid is separate , so it'll sit on the shelf for years?

I need to sign up for that Amazon prime, does that save your shipping on every thing or just some things?

Amazon prime is just for some things, but I've found it to be very helpful. I can usually find what I want that is Prime eligible.

Between Prime, Subscribe & save, and Amazon Mom and Slickdeals, I can find tons of stuff on sale. Keeps my wallet empty, that's for sure.

Boycott Amazon due to their position relating to guns and you won't have that issue anymore

I didn't know Amazon was so anti-gun! Dammm, I buy a lot from them. Reminds me of someone years ago, bought a notebook computer, they wouldn't ship it to him because his business was a gun shop. They didn't even tell him they wouldn't ship it, they just didn't ship it.

Now I wish there was some stronger competition to Amazon. Sometimes I wish businesses would just shut up and do their job.

Look up Zenith Tourbillon watch on Amazon and read the Jesus review. "Screw those hippies!!"

Amazon Prime is where its at. Free instant movies and TV programs similar to Netflix and there's always buying Prime Elegible products that get free 2-day shipping. Not to mention that you can ship to Amazon Lockers instead of your home (for those needing their SO's permission to buy stuff)....

Amazon has become a bit of a Craigs List, I notice the used items going for more than new all the time. It's a joke.

In fact, the only good thing about Amazon is that they have so much stuff that you can usually find what you want.

Zenith Men's 96.0529.4035/51.M Defy Xtreme Tourbillon Titanium Chronograph Watch: Watches: Amazon.com

"The Zenith Men's Defy Xtreme Tourbillon Titanium Chronograph Watch or Z.M.D.X.T.B.T.C.M. as I like to call it, is by far the most awesome watch. Chuck Norris riding into the Super Bowl on the back of Godzilla and round house kicking the crowd is no where near as awesome as this priceless poon magnet. When I was just moments from sending my $100k to some needy neo-hippie help group, I stumbled onto this gem. It was like the heavens opened and Jesus himself appeared with this same watch on. I mean how can you not follow Jesus when he's rocking a watch of this caliber. So I asked "What would Jesus do?" Jesus pimp smacked me and said "Forget those hippies, buy the watch!" I was like "HECK YEAH." I busted out my Discover card and bought this rocking piece of art. I mean its art but its also practical too. Like when I take my summer trips to the Marianas Trench, I have no more worries that I am going to miss Tea Time back on the yacht, because water ruined my watch again. It can withstand the immense pressures of the deep due to the wicked awesome titanium. Deep seas, cant beat this. Bullets cant beat this. Heck, I can deflect cruise missiles and the apocalypse. With a watch like this you don't need to tell time, you tell people what time it is."

Got my $23 AC Delco battery today. It did come with the acid separate, so it's on the shelf. I measured the dimensions and it's the same size as OEM. Took about 4 weeks to get it.

My battery was dead today when I went to ride. It was from "Battery Mart" and lasted 52,000 miles so I guess I got my money's worth . I had the $23 AC Delco Battery on the shelf for the past 2-1/2 years.....dusted it off, added the electrolyte, popped it in and the bike fired right up. It will be interesting to see how it lasts.

Should be a "brand new" battery since you just added the electrolyte. Do keep us updated though.

IIRC, you have to do a slow (low amp) charge for a full day or so in order to bring it up to it's 1st full charge.

The instructions said that it was recommended to do a 1 hour "standby" charge" before putting it into service, but I just started it and rode for a couple of hours and then hooked it up to the battery tender when I got home and charged it until I rode it again this morning.

Daylight was fading

Did you have to bump start it or anything or after putting the electrolyte it was ready for cranking? Got one on the shelf sitting for about the same time period too but the shorai hasn't croaked yet.

No bump start was needed. It just fired right up.
